Palani

Palani Hill Temple and the Idol "Lord Murugan" is the deity of the Tamil Land, situated at an elevation of 1500 feet above sea level. There are 2 main divisions of Palani - the Upper Palani and the Lower Palani.
How to reach: Airport Madurai 125 kms and Coimbatore 110 kms. By road bus services are available from Palani to Madurai, Kodaikanal, Theni, Dindigul, Thiruchirappalli, Kumuli, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Chennai.

Kodaikanal is one of the most popular hill resorts in India. It is a lovely hill resort on the Palani hills in the Dindigul district of TamilNadu. The hill resort of Kodaikanal is jam-packed with beautiful spots of interest. The best season to visit Kodaikanal is April to June. The other major place of tourist attraction of Kodaikanal is the Bryant's Park. Dindigul Fort

Dindigul located about 400 km from Chennai. Anyone who wants to visit the fort will have to trek about 800 rock steps to reach the fort. In 1755 Hyder Ali captured the Fort and it was under the rule of Tippu Sultan. During the year 1790 in the Mysore war Tipu was defeated and the Fort came into the hands of English. Now a days the fort is maintained by Archaeological Survey of India and has become a tourist attraction
